Klabu
KLABU, which means ‘club’ in Swahili, is the cross-border sports club changing the playing field for refugees globally. The Amsterdam based organisation builds community-led clubhouses in refugee camps and cities where young people can find joy, pride and hope through sports, no matter the circumstances. Each clubhouse has its own unique KLABU sportswear, available to supporters worldwide who want to play their part. The goal: to build the world’s biggest sports club.

Mews and Klabu
Mews has partnered with KLABU, supporting them in their mission to help refugees find community, connection and belonging through sport. For Mews, it's about what hospitality looks like when it moves beyond the four walls of a hotel: creating meaningful experiences and making people feel welcome, safe and seen, wherever they are in the world.
Klabu at Unfold
Mews is the main sponsor of the Boa Vista Spirit clubhouse in Brazil, and we are delighted to offer our Unfold attendees the chance to get their hands on special Boa Vista Spirit Football shirts (if they get enough points that is!).
The KLABU team will also be in attendance, so be sure to seek them out and find out more about what they are achieving in the world!
